It takes faith with
fortitude to uproot your family from a steady,
reliable stream of income and secure positions
of employment to go where the only thing you
can see waiting for you except God's plan for a
new church! Yet, Paul did just that and
just two weeks after returning to Alton he
"opened the doors" for their first service and
has now grown to the point that as of May, 2009
they are able to acquire their own
building!
Paul's faith comes from the
Holy Bible - God's Word! Paul's
fortitude comes from living what God says in
His Word ... making God the focus and theme of
his life!
Originally from New Orleans,
Paul attended catholic schools in his early
childhood years, then public high school after
which he went on to college, graduating from
University of New Orleans. Upon
graduation from college Paul enlisted in the
United States Marine Corps, serving four years
in the Viet Nam war.
In the secular world, Paul
worked in the fields of sales and marketing,
holding a variety of positions ranging from
Sales Manager for different businesses,
Business Manager of an automobile dealership
and at one company, Vice-President of
Marketing.
In 1988, Paul’s wife Patti,
led him to be born again accepting Christ Jesus
as Lord and Savior, and as he says it … “I have
never looked back!” For 15 years Paul has
served in children’s ministries at different
churches until hearing God’s call to begin
Destiny Fellowship.

follow God's direction - especially when that
direction makes little human sense - Paul is

from!
